Mile High Exterior Construction was a pleasure to work with. Our parents 50+ year old detached garage needed the siding replaced. LaPrells team did a terrific job of replacing the siding where it was needed, but helped us reduce our costs by sanding, priming and painting the sides that we didnt replace. MHEC focused on our needs, and did a quality job taking care of us. We recommend MHEC for any project you have!!
The repair, replace and update of our 40-year-old ranch could not have gone better. Daily check in by the contractors, complete and constant communication was greatly appreciated and unusual for these times. Im a mechanic and had to have some remodeling done on the inside and outside of my shops which consisted of building a loft above my workstation, pressure washing, painting, trim work, installing ****************, shelving, address signs, fence with a gate and installed exterior rock. MHEC communicated with me closely on daily progress. I really enjoyed working with the owner ******* and her team. They made the old space come alive inside and out in my waiting area and breakroom. They did such a good job I had them decorate my own personal living space. I have recommended them to other business associates and friends. I look forward to working with them in the future! KS.
We are very happy with the quality of the job done on our house by MHEC. They did everything they said they would, they did all inspections, they helped me update any additional problems that I had, they were professional, and I think the owners were on site every day personally checking the work. We trusted Mile High Exterior Construction with updating our 90-year-old-home and couldnt be happier with the results. During the summer and fall of 2021, MHEC replaced our gutters, downspouts, soffit, fascia, portions of siding, painting, and the addition of iron railing and cedar posts on our front and back porches. During the construction process, LaPrell and ******** always made themselves available for any questions we had during construction and made frequent in-person visits to check on the project and make any adjustments. OMG! Laprell and her amazing crew had the job done in 1 day. Im a very picky customer and the job was perfection!! Laprell even blew out my leaves in the yard during cleanup. I would recommend them to anyone.
Mhec was extremely professional and we would use them again in a heart beat. They replaced our gutters, soffits, and fascia. They installed a roof fan and did exterior paint of the addition and the detached garage. They recreated our outside covered patio space with a new ceiling and ceiling fans, and covered the existing columns with cedar. They designed and installed decorative panels to hide all the electric panel mess and the timers and controls associated with the sprinklers. They had amazing attention to detail and were such a joy to work with. They kept the job site clean at the end of every day, and kept us informed and included as decisions had to be made. Highly recommend them.
I recently had a new roof installed by this company and very satisfied with the quality of the work. They were very professional and paid a lot of attention to detail. I would highly recommend them to anybody. Very pleased, happy and content with the outcome of this project.
MHEC was very professional and prompt. When I contacted them, they returned my call very quickly and were able to come out the next day to assess my situation. One of the things that I found to be the most satisfying was the personal attention that owner LaPrell showed by coming out to my home not only for the estimate but on the work day as well. She personally made sure that all aspects of the contract were completed and that I was completely satisfied. I am happy to say that my roof is repaired and I was very happy with this company.

Replaced roof.
Called MHEC 5/7 to get an estimate on a new roof required by buyer. Talked with Tracy and set an appt. for the next day. MHEC came out on 5/8, inspected the roof and gave me an estimate. He came back a couple of days later and inspected some areas I had questions about. MHEC met me at the house on 5/13 and we signed the contract. He made a special effort to meet with the buyers to choose the roof color and ordered material the same day. Demolition of old roof began on 5/16 with completion of new installation on 5/19. I talked with Tracy many times over the course of two weeks with questions. She was ALWAYS polite, professional, friendly, and, most of all, helpful. A real pleasure to work with. Harold was also very friendly and professional.

Getting a contractor isn’t always easy, this experience was wonderful!!! The call to the front office and getting a quick appointment wasn’t a problem. The service tech showed at the time I was told they would, my roof was inspected to find the cause of the leak I had and to see if any other problems could be found. The work to replace a flange around a vent and above the front door was completed the very next day as promised!!! FAST, FAST, FAST!!! and professional. I can’t thank you enough

Gutter, Fascia, Soffit & Painting Reviews
LaPrell & Kario were great! We had them come out and give us a quote for removing and replacing the soffit, fascia, and add gutters to our new house. They were reasonably priced and there work turned out great. Furthermore, they will actually call you back and keep you up to date on when the project will start. We have dealt with several other contractors who don’t return phone calls and then just show up ready to work without any notice. Either LaPrell or Kario called us every day of the project to make sure that we were still happy with their work and followed up with us after it was finished. Towards the end of the project we realized we would like the trim on our upper windows painted to match the color of the new gutters, soffit, and fascia, and not only were they more than happy to add that on to our work schedule on the last day they were scheduled to work on our home, ******* came by personally and offered advice based on what she has observed in the other work they have done. The attention to detail and personal touch made the entire project such a positive experience for us!
Many businesses say that customer satisfaction is their number one priority. But few businesses act like it. Mile High Exterior Construction is one that does. My husband and I recently had the professionals there do extensive work on our Lakewood home’s exterior including fascia and soffit repairs as well as new gutters. I can only say that all the work done was outstanding, and where we had any concerns, they were immediately and cheerfully corrected. The price we were charged for the work was extremely fair and Mile High’s willingness to go above and beyond without escalating costs was really appreciated. Not only did they do good work, they also took to heart the importance of our family home to our future and they treated all our concerns as their own. I can unequivocally recommend Mile High for any exterior construction needs.
Fascia and soffit repairs as well as new gutters
A few years ago, through a recommendation I had MHEC come out to check my roof because of all the hail storms we had. They could not in good faith sell me a roof as they admitted it was in good shape. However he did suggest I update my gutters. This year (2015) with all the rain/wind one of the sections started to pull away from the house. Mile High Exterior Construction was out on Monday (I called Friday). I showed them where it was pulling away to which he replied to his crew that was with him, “This is warranty work guys.” A few moments later they were done. It’s very rare in this day to find a group so honest. I know nothing about roofs and am too scared to get on a ladder. I have only called them to inspect my roof. I can’t believe the integrity that this business has
It was an awesome experience to work with this company! I never thought I could find a company that would do both the painting and gutter replacement, and be happy with both jobs, but MHEC exceeded my expectations in both cases. It made my life easier to work with one company. LaPrell Wade is amazing! The execution of the work was very impressive. MHEC cared about the details of the job and they wanted to make me happy. They are very customer focused — and not just one or two people in the company, but everyone who came to my home, whether it was for power washing, scraping, painting or gutters. This job was more stress free than I anticipated because MHEC is very strong and solid in what they do. They priced the job more than fairly. I found this company through Angie’s List, and although I’ve used a lot of great companies from Angie’s List, MHEC is beyond what I’ve seen from the very best! I highly recommend them as they greatly exceeded my expectations.

MHEC helped me get a rush job on gutters that I needed replaced as I was selling my home and it was very important that the gutters be done by closing. They were excellent in handling my replacement and did a wonderful job, the gutters look beautiful. I was very impressed with the work they did as well as the price charged for said work
Replaced all of my gutters (excluding downspouts)
We had quite a lot of work to be done on the exterior of our two stories, 33 year old house with some of the fascia warping and pulling away from the soffits, some wood window trim getting soft and the gutters starting to rust. We started getting estimates in late May. Mile High Exterior Construction promptly returned our phone call and set up a time for an estimate. MHEC, the owner, and his assistant came on time and was one of only two estimators to actually climb on the roof to inspect the fascia and trim to get an accurate assessment of all the wood replacement that needed to be done. We decided to replace all of the gutters on the house so the gutter system wouldn’t be piecemeal. We received an estimate 4 days later, just as promised.
We decided on MHEC because of their price, and because they were very responsive to all of our questions. To complicate matters, we were also getting the exterior of our house painted and MHEC agreed to do the wood work and take the old gutters down before the painters came and to put up the new gutters when the painters were done. Because of our house was scheduled to be painted on July 24th, LaPrell scheduled the wood work for July 19th and the new gutter installation on 27th.
MHEC and their crew came out and started the work as scheduled. As the work progressed, it became apparent that more work needed to be done. After the arch trim was taken off from the front porch (wood p***** and settling damage), a gap between the support beam and the overhang of the roof was exposed. MHEC assured us that they could fix the problem but it would add more to the cost. We agreed and also requested that a few more fascia boards and wood trim be replaced. They fixed the gap and replaced the extra boards the day before the painters came, just in time. The old wood and gutters were cleaned up from the yard and taken away. After the painting was done, they installed the new gutters in 1 day.
If you are looking for exterior work done on your house, we highly recommend MHEC. They are a small, local, family run business that provides honest, old fashioned service. LaPrell responded to all of our phone calls promptly and kept us informed of any rain delays. MHEC was at our house every day that work was done in order to inspect and assist his crew. The wood replacement looks good and the gutters are functioning great. We will not hesitate to call them again if we need more work done.

They showed up on time and finished the job quickly and did a great job. Also, cleaned up and left no mess is complete.

MHEC was contracted to replace two gutters on the front of my house. The previous gutters were not draining properly. It went fantastic! As stated, they were supposed to replace two gutters on the front of house. However, prior to them doing it, I had my concrete front porch replaced. To that end, the guys that were preparing my front porch for the concrete destroyed one of the down spouts. I called Mile High and asked if they would replace that as well…this was an add on. Then, out of curiosity, I asked if they could give me some wisdom regarding gutter guards. I have a silver maple and some other kind of tree in my front yard. When they drop the leaves, they go all over the place and into the gutters. They gave me some advice on gutter guards and so I had them add the gutter guards to the two gutters they were replacing. The color of the replacement gutters were so close to the original, I don’t think I’ll have to repaint them. They were courteous and prompt. They called me to tell me the guys were on the way to the house. When they were done, they called and told me. Would I use them again? Yes, I plan having them put gutter guards on the rest of the house next summer.
Cleaned and resealed a leaking gutter, scraped and repainted the fascia board below the gutter. They did an excellent job, with the recent snow melt there is no sign of any leakage. They thoroughly cleaned up after finishing the work. It took some time to get the job scheduled but otherwise I was completely satisfied.

Whole home gutter repair. They called to confirm the color. Even added in a section of the garage for free. Would use them again. They came in at almost half the price then other bids, and they are all using the same materials really.
We had several scheduling glitches. These guys were very busy due to the flood problems in the fall and we had a few miscues on appointments. However, once we finally connected, they were great and completed the job professionally and in a timely fashion.
Everyone we dealt with was very professional and they made a second trip to fix a problem that my husband wanted changed. I would work with them again should the need arise. Great people.

We contacted Mile High Exterior Const initially about a skylight that had been leaking and causing interior damage to the drywall. They were out the next morning and repaired the leak. We also had them quote us on gutter replacement – very reasonable prices. We were also having our exterior painting done – and MHEC came and tore off the old – waited until the painting was finished – and installed the new ones right away. Very pleased with their services.
